I was priveliged to lead the Knutsford Ornithological Soceity (KOS) in their 40th celebration tour. Twelve members, lead by Sheila Blamire, enjoyed a terrific week of good weather and excellent birding. We experienced many magical moments in wonderful habitats and outstanding landscapes, the bird species count was 178, not bad either.
