VIEWS FROM MY LOUNGE
The number of redwings in the field adjacent to our flat has risen exponentially in the last couple of days. From a flock of 20 birds we now have well over 200, it is an amazing sight. I check them out whenever I can just in case an oddity turns up with them.
This one was in the garden trees
one of the masses in the field next to my garden
The feeder has also been very busy with Blue Tits and Great Tits, Eurasian Nuthatch and Great Spotted Woodpecker. Yesterday I saw our star bird of the feeder - MARSH TIT. This is the first time I have seen it here since last winter.
I am out with Nigel Bleaken tomorrow, watch this space for some goodies!
