first trip. We had a wide range of weather conditions, changing from bright sunny days, to windy
cloudy days and we had a day with tremendous thunders storms and hail stone downpours.

wildlife. We saw 189 species of birds and just short of 50 species of butterflies, there were also a
nice selection of mammals and wild flowers in a country abundant with beautiful scenery, superb
habitats and nice sunshine most of the time.
Birding highlights included the Wallcreeper at Trigrad, the Rosy Starlings at Cape Kaliakra and
sheer number of birds at Burgas. We also enjoyed the Imperial Eagle, Golden Eagle, Pygmy
Cormorants and the huge number of White Storks seen on migration.
It was another successful tour of this magical and bird-rich island, we saw all of the 34 endemic species of birds in our total of 248 species. We also saw over 50 species of butterflies, 21 mammals and a dozen or so reptiles. This beaut...View Report
