Yet another fantastic Wingspan bird Tour of this fascinating Greek island. We had superb weather for the the first four days then an abrupt change brought in wind, rain and a huge fall of migrant bird species. We saw most of the regular species that Lesvos has to offer with excellent views of Kruper's & Western Rock Nuthatches, Cretzschmar's & Cinereous Buntings, Masked Shrike, Collared & Red-breasted Flycatchers, Isabelline Wheatear, Little Crake, Little Bittern and many more of course. It was a poor week for butterflies, very windy at times, rain showers and low temperatures but we still manged to see around 15 species.
