THE GAMBIA

This was our first post-Covid visit to this wonderful birding country and it hasn't changed a bit! The birding is still wonderful and varied and the wether is still blistering hot and humid!  Massive road-improvements are being undertaken and by 2024 the trip to and from the airport will take just minutes, in fact anywhere along the coastline will so much easier and faster to reach.

We saw  293 species, with all the goodies on offer, including the very rare Black-casqued Hornbill and our first Temminck's Coursers. It was magical to be out out there with all those colourful birds and the whole Gambia Experience is a unique adventure.
