AN AFTERNOON STROLL TO REACQUAINT MYSELF WITH MY LOCALS

It was until about 3pm that we set off for the local walk along the river behind our home. It was sunny and dry and that is what drew us out.

Grren Woodpecker

As it was late in the day I never expected to see much but we did find a very confiding pair of Green Woodpeckers, they fed on the grassy bank ust up the nhill from the river. The local Common Buzzards were very vocal too as they circled overhead.

The rest of the dightings were confined to common hedgerow birds such as Blue & Great Tit, Robin, Dunnock, Goldfinch and the usual corvids.
