SATURDAY 6TH JUNE saw 7 of us take on the 3 hour walk from Jimera de Libar to Benaojan, then on Sunday Dawn, Celia and myself walked the Gaucin 'loop' and today the same 3 of us spent 3 hours walking down to the Ermita de Santo Nino..............

Our morning walk today was the looped track from east to west below the south escarpment of the village. Dawn, Celia and I set off at 9am arriving at the start of the track at 9:15 in a blaze of sunshine, this was the leeside of the village and the warmest.

I said that I would never do this run again, but there I was driving to Sevilla to collect a client and then driving over to Donana just for a day trip....I must be mad...but it was enjoyable and we saw some great birds...........I guess that's why I do it
