A full day in 'true' Donana was thwarted by road-closures we couldn't get out to the Jose Valverde Centre, nevertheless we had a great day out seeing RED-KNOBBED COOT, BLACK-WINGED KITE and some wonderful wildlife spectacles...........

Our first full day was spent at the visitor's centres found on the edge of the national park, we enjoyed a great day out but the species of birds was quite low for this time of the year......

This tour started at Malaga Airport in lovely sunshine, our group of 7 Wing-spanners enjoyed a couple of hours birding near the airport before driving off to Coto Donana. We stopped at the fabulous Laguna Fuente de Piedra where we saw a good number of species.....
